ABOUT US
Baxbier was founded in 2014 by two friends. What started out of curiosity and hobby quickly took on serious forms. After successful crowdfunding, the brewery opened its own in 2016. Ten years later, beers such as Kon Minder and Koudvuur have won international awards, we are available in every corner of the country, we have a beautiful tasting room on the water and we organize a large beer festival every year. Day in, day out, we work with around 25 enthusiastic people to develop innovative beers, often with lots of hops or a fun twist. We have a wide core range, but we also brew many more one-off beers. Often together with appealing breweries from home and abroad. Baxbier is known for its love of playing and experimenting. Our motto is not for nothing: Seriously Playful.
SERIOUSLY PLAYFUL
Our motto is Seriously Playful. We take our beer very seriously, but ourselves a lot less. When it comes to developing recipes or techniques, we can get lost in perfecting the smallest detail, but in our labels and the names of the beers we want to put as much humor as possible. Self-mockery, a wink or a good pun are worth a lot to us. There are enough other things to worry about!
